# Free operations audit

Carbon Gear Automations offers a free operations audit to trades shops in the
United States. It maps how work moves through the shop and shows where it
stalls, in writing, whether or not the shop hires them. The call runs about half
an hour and there is nothing to prepare. Request it at
https://www.carbongearautomations.com/contact, email
support@carbongearautomations.com, or call (725) 255-3358.

## What happens on it

Carbon Gear gets in touch to find a time. On the call they walk through how a
lead reaches the shop today and who touches it, then find the points where work
waits on a person to remember something. The shop gets that written up,
including the parts Carbon Gear would leave alone. If they cannot help, the site
says they say so on the call.

## The form

Five fields. Name, business name, and email are required; phone is optional, as
is the message ("What's eating your week?"). Submitting it agrees to the Privacy
Policy and Terms of Service.

A visitor arriving from the ROI calculator finds the message box already filled
in with the figures they entered there, visible and editable. Deleting that text
removes it from the submission entirely.

There is a separate, unchecked consent box for text messages about scheduling
the audit. Its disclosure states that message and data rates may apply, that
message frequency varies, that replying STOP opts out at any time, and that
consent is not a condition of working with Carbon Gear. The box and the phone
field go together in both directions: a number must be accompanied by a ticked
box, and a ticked box by a number. Leaving both empty is fine and the form
accepts it.
